Due to Cyclone Ita the 28th Lizard Island Black Marlin Classic is being held out of Cooktown. The Island suffered serve damage from Tropical Cyclone Ita and is still undergoing repairs and is not expected to re-open until 2015.
Captain Laurie and crewmen Davo and Luke are again fishing on “Think Big” with owners Paul and Sharon Poulter. On the final day of the tournament they are currently in 8th position, however they may not of had lots of fish but they were all BIG fish.
Sharon has released 4 fish being 850#, 900#, 900# and 700#.
